The expert in neuro sensorial ergonomics Eleonora Buiatti teaches Cognitive Ergonomics for Design at Politecnico di Torino DAD - Department of Architecture and Design.
She's been concerned for years of cognitive neuroscience, first applied to the field of art and then to the fields of design and market research.
Author of the book "Forma Mentis - Cognitive Ergonomics Applied to Design" published by Franco Angeli Editore, co-proprietor of the European patent "SounBe",she collaborates with QueLLiDelNaso.
She use to make ergonomic analysis and qualitative research for public and private companies and has prepared for us the research entitled "The Power of smell: An Invisible Force", created on the basis of data collected over the years of study, research and teaching at Politecnico di Torino related to the olfactory perception of spaces, environments, places and products.
She wrote about us:
"The results of an intensive scientific research on the power of smell are materializing in an Italian reality. Today it's possible to understand how this sense is able to change thoughts and behaviors, also very specific ones. So, the strength of defined fragrances can be translated into objective data such as the continuation of the permanence of a consumer in a perfumed place (16%) compared to a non-perfumed place, with the relative increase of the average receipt (15%). However, the olfactory power is useful in environments and really varied places: medical offices, public facilities, stores, hotels and much more. These are spaces that a pleasant smell can qualitatively elevate, both on the immediately perceived image level and also in strengthening the positivity of memory afterwards. I started working with QueLLiDelNaso when I learned that fragrances produced by the company are certified by the National Health System, a key factor for the safety of users."
